So what is it about classic advertisements that fascinates me so? Maybe it's because they recall a simpler, less cynical time (even if that time never really existed). Or maybe it's because they just look so damn neat. Whatever the reason, you'll find some of my all-time favorites here. Most of these vintage print, TV, and radio ads are from what many people refer to as the Golden Age of Advertising (aka the '50s through the '60s), although you'll also find a healthy dose of more not-so-vintage modern classics from the '70s, '80s, and even the '90s as well. New entries are added on a fairly regular basis and are usually announced in the blog or the Facebook page. |
