Well that was...f&@*ed up. It seems poor Doc Venture is once again left to clean up one of his father's messes. And speaking of Jonas Venture, the shine sure has come off his apple this season, eh?
The action this week returns to Venture Industries - deep below Venture Industries, in fact (just how friggin' big is this place anyway?). Rusty and Brock drop through the floor of the compound and find themselves trapped in different areas of what's revealed to be a ... Read on, Daddy-O

Ahhh, now that's the stuff! What's not to love about "Dr. Quymn, Medicine Woman"? There was plenty of action, mystery, and top-notch jokes. Oh yeah, and my prayers about seeing more Hank and Dean were answered tenfold. This was vintage Venture Bros. my friends.
Save for a few brief (but extremely relevant) flashbacks into Dr. Venture's life, this was a completely self-contained episode; the first one of the season. In it we find Rusty in the Amazon, where he has stolen a native ... Read on, Daddy-O

I can't be the only one who made instant comparisons between this week's episode of The Venture Bros. and the classic season 1 entry, "Tag Sale - You're It!" The obvious link is Doc Hammer, who wrote both episodes. But more than that, the episodes contain the same ingredients for awesomeness - clever dialogue, a deceptively simple plot, tons of great cameos, and just enough intrigue to keep the overall story arc moving.
As for that deceptively simple plot, it pretty much goes ... Read on, Daddy-O

As depressing as it is to contemplate, we're now just about one-third of the way through season 3 of The Venture Bros. I'll let that sink in for a moment before diving into the newest episode, "Home Is Where the Hate Is."
This week picks up the thread of the season premiere, as we see how the Monarch is adjusting both to married life and life without Dr. Venture as his archnemesis. He and his new bride, Dr. Mrs. The Monarch, are the ... Read on, Daddy-O

I came to an important realization while watching last night's episode of The Venture Bros. - of all the characters in the Ventureverse, the pair of Pete White and Master Billy Quizboy is my least favorite. So read my take on this episode with that in mind.
As with the premiere episode of the season, "The Invisible Hand of Fate" is devoted to flashbacks intended to provide insight into some characters (in this case, the aforementioned Pete White and Master Billy Quizboy). ... Read on, Daddy-O

For those who griped about the lack of Ventures in the season 3 premiere, you got what you wanted this week. In fact, we all got more Venture than we bargained for...
This episode covered a very familiar theme in the Venture universe - failure. And of course, the biggest failure on the show is none other than Dr. Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture himself. And at first, things continue to look mighty grim for the son of Dr. Jonas Venture - ... Read on, Daddy-O

Oh happy day! After what seems like years of waiting (1 year, 7 months, 17 days actually - but who’s counting?), The Venture Bros. will finally return to [adult swim] on June 1st! But as the last month-plus of waiting ticks slowly by, I can at least amuse myself with the recently released [...]

But as the last month-plus of waiting ticks slowly by, I can at least amuse myself with the recently released teaser trailer for season 3.
According to Jackson Publick himself, this trailer only draws from 3 1/2 episodes of the season, but man does it bode well for ... Read on, Daddy-O

Courtesy Jackson Publick's blog, there is now a viewable teaser trailer for the upcoming DVD set of The Venture Bros., Season 2. It debuted at the recent New York Comic-Con, but is now available for our viewing pleasure. I have to admit, I had a hard time getting into the 2nd season when it started. The whole "Hank/Dean as clones" plot device didn't sit well with me, but I got over it and enjoyed the rest of the season. ... Read on, Daddy-O

You know that feeling of total satisfaction you get when you find something great in life, and you didn’t even realize you were looking for it? I got that very feeling late last year when I discovered The Venture Brothers.
