Here’s another free desktop background inspired by the Golden Age of Comics. I pulled this one together using various images from the Captain Midnight comic books of the 1940s. The original image is 1920×1080, and clicking on the smaller one below will take you to my Flick page. Captain Midnight started as a radio show in 1938, and was one of the most popular programs of the era. Fawcett published the comic book from June 1942 until September 1948, although its Captain Midnight shared little in common with the radio character.
