    DC trivia on Schwartz for you:  The SS Minnow was named to mock Newton Minow, Kennedy’s FCC chariman.  He’s famous for the “vast wasteland” disparaginging description of television.  His implied threat to the networks ironically (or unsurprisingly, depending on your opinion of government intervention) resulted in the bland cookie-cutter programming of the 1960’s.

      Interestingly enough, I learned that Gilligan’s Island was canceled to make room for more socially redeeming fare – Gunsmoke.
