It sure has been a swell year here at The Man in the Gray Flannel Suit, and 2011 promises to be even slightly less mediocre!  But before I close the books on 2010, I’d like to leave you with a few little nuggets of New Year’s Eve joy.  First up is this sweet, slightly unnerving short film from 1949 featuring the timeless seasonal classic, “Auld Lang Syne”.

And showing just how far we’ve come as a society since then, here’s Kathy Griffin yelling a dick joke at some random heckler on CNN (New Year’s Eve, 2008).
