Album Cover of the Week
It's been quite some time since I last featured a Western-themed album cover, although this one is not as obvious. It's Cannonball's Sharpshooters, from the late, great jazz saxophonist Julian "Cannonball" Adderley. This is the original cover for the record, released in 1958 on the EmArcy label (a subsidiary of Mercury Records). I can't find any credit information for the graphic design but I can tell you that this is a typically fine release from Adderley, one of my favorite saxophonists.
